Adding a second territory: Leila's Manchester expansion
One of our longest-running partners opened a second protected postcode in late 2025. Here's the signal that told her it was time — and the playbook she used to launch territory two from day one.
Leila Ahmed has been a Space Cleaners partner since 2023, building her original Manchester North territory from zero to £18k MRR and six cleaners over two and a half years. In late 2025 she opened a second protected postcode in Manchester South — the first partner in the network to take on a second territory before the original was fully matured.
The signal: a three-week waitlist she couldn't shorten
By Q3 2025 territory one was at 92% recurring-capacity, with a rolling three-week waitlist for new fortnightly slots. Leila was turning away two qualified leads a week. The numbers were screaming expansion — and importantly, her team and processes were stable enough to free her up to lead a launch.
How she did it: promote, then duplicate
Step one was promoting her best cleaner, Daniela, to operational manager of territory one. That took six weeks of shadowing and handover. With territory one running itself, Leila treated territory two as a brand-new launch — the same 14-day playbook every new partner gets, except she already knew it cold.
What launch two looked like
- Day 1–5: brand kit, landing page, GBP, two cleaners pre-hired and ready.
- Day 6–10: marketing live, first 30 leads worked through the standard funnel.
- Day 11–14: first eight recurring contracts signed, first invoices sent.
- Day 30: territory two at £3.2k MRR — faster than territory one's first month.
Today: 9 staff, £28k combined MRR
Six months in, the two territories together generate £28k MRR with nine cleaners. Leila spends two days a week in each and is already eyeing a third launch in 2027.
Territory two launched faster than territory one because I already knew the playbook worked. The brand did half the lifting for me — again.
